Since the full rollout of Home Information Packs (HIPs) on December 14th 2007, every home that is put on the market for sale in England and Wales now requires a HIP. The Pack includes a number of documents including an Energy Performance Certificate (EPC), local searches, a sale statement and evidence of title.
